Media Wise – Building Youth resilience against online manipulation, disinformation and internet deception

Programme: Erasmus + KA2 Youth

The general objective of the project is to empower young people from six European countries with the necessary skills and knowledge to critically assess online information, and identify and resist online manipulation, disinformation, and internet deception.

Objectives:

• To equip 24 youth workers with the necessary technical knowledge and skills to provide multiplier activities to teach 180 young people to avoid and combat manipulation, disinformation and internet deception.
• To enhance the capacity and sustainability of six partner organizations, enabling them to deliver high-quality multiplier skills to their members for teaching young people.
• To create a collaborative, cross-border network of six partner organizations sharing expertise and best practices.

Implementation:

• Selection of the 24 youth workers of the partners who will become multipliers use smartphones in their daily lives.
• Drafting Course support to train the youth workers.
• Organizing a training course for training the 24 mentors.
• Conception and administration of an E-Hub Platform.
• Implementing 5 types of multiplier activities for 180 young people to avoid and combat manipulation, disinformation and internet deception.
• 180 young people who increased their trust in digital services and online information during 5 types of multiplier activities in each country.
