European VET providers and educational institutions will be involved in a professional training and self-training process in order to face the challenges of contemporary tourism.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The objectives of the project are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0To develop, structure and share the professional knowledge about local-based\u00a0sustainable tourism 4.0.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To involve European VET providers and educational institutions in a professional training and self-training process in order to face the challenges of contemporary tourism.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To design, develop and test a training path in order to be deliverable both for online and face-to-face education.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To extrapolate models from local best practices in the involved countries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To teste the learning tools \u2013 online and offline \u2013 and to deliver them as the first European-based educational toolkit for sustainable local-based tourism 4.0, available for future tourism professionals and tourism professionals who want to update their competences.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Outputs&#8221;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From this main objective there are several specific objectives and products to develop during the implementation of the project:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysis of existing data about tourism, new forms of hospitality and promotion of local identities, digital tourism in the local contexts of partners.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Training path definition, development of educational units and piloting process.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Development of an e- learning platform; adaptation of educational units to web-based education.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organization of webinars in order to test the e- learning platform; transnational meeting.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The training path that will be designed, developed and tested in order to be deliverable both for online and face-to-face education. For this purpose, a specific methodology will be designed in order to extrapolate models from local best practices in the involved countries.
